Established by the academy in 1978, the Canadian Music Hall of Fame is home to such icons as Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, The Band, Joni Mitchell, Hank Snow, Anne Murray, Oscar Petersen, Bruce Cockburn, Daniel Lanois and Tom Cochrane.

The Canadian Music Hall of Fame recognizes Canadian artists that have attained commercial success while having a positive impact on the Canadian music scene here at home and around the world.
